This was absolutely gorgeous Siara. so Love may sound like the easiest stupid sentence ever but it’s never easy for anyone to apply to themselves rather, we chase it by applying to others and hope that he reflects back on us, but it doesn’t work like that.

Having a tough childhood and a tough adulthood to be honest with you I’ve always self loved myself a lot. and the kind of person who doesn’t conform to what people think. I only do things I believe to be right. Maybe that’s a definition of self-love and self application but I think it’s a worthy thing because it has defined me and set me on a path which I am mostly grateful for.

I don’t know how I learned self love. Maybe it’s from the fact that I wasn't initially a feelings person or maybe the fact that I just had intentions on what I wanted out of life and in a natural way that implied self love and self consideration.

Giving love is actually more beautiful than receiving love and giving yourself the love. somehow that’s how the world works. But there is nothing more gracious, satisfying and beautiful than learning how to give yourself this kind of love even if it’s one step at a time.

Thank you so much, Ral, your words truly touched me. I felt your honesty and strength in every line. It takes courage to reflect so openly on your journey, and I deeply admire the self-trust and integrity you’ve carried through it all. I'm so glad it resonated with you and you loved the poem and it spoke to you in that way.

I especially loved what you said about love often being something we extend outward, hoping it reflects back, but real transformation comes when we begin to offer that same love inward. And you’re so right: giving love to yourself, even one step at a time, is one of the most gracious and powerful things we can do.

Thank you for sharing this with me, and with all of us.

Oh, friend, this is stunning. You always have this way of weaving truth with tenderness, of reminding me (and so many others) that healing isn’t about striving, it’s about remembering. Returning. I’m so grateful for this reminder—that love isn’t something we chase down, it’s something we uncover bravely, within ourselves.

Thank you for this, I needed it more than I knew. 💜

My pleasure, my friend. Debs, my friend, thank you so much for your beautiful words, they truly touched me. I’m so grateful this piece found you at just the right time. You put it perfectly: healing is a return, not a race. And love, it’s already there, quietly waiting within us, not something to chase. Your reflection is a reminder in itself. Thank you for reading with such depth and care. I’m truly honoured it resonated with you. 💜

Saira, It’s the kind of writing that doesn’t rush you but stays close, almost like someone sitting beside you in silence. The shift from pain to gentleness felt real, not forced, and that’s what gave it depth. It reminded me that becoming whole isn’t loud—it’s steady, and often quiet. 💐🌷🥀

It means a lot that the gentleness felt real to you. Healing is often quiet, and I’m so glad that came through in this piece. 💜🌿 Thank you for sharing your heart. 🥰❤️🌹
